Created while living in a small Icelandic village called Stöðvarfjörður, this rock series was inspired by the artists’ peaceful early morning walks along the shores of the Eastern fjords. Historically, cairns symbolize man-made landmarks, delicate stone formations subject to the elements. This study symbolizes both a physical and emotional landmark of her time spent in Iceland. Created in 2019.
